Who is Chinedum Ndukwe?: Sexual Assault, Bribery, Extortion (and Other Controversies)

June 21, 2025

Chinedum Ndukwe

I’m sharing this post as a Bengals fan; I mean no hate.

But when someone brings disgrace to your favorite team, I think it needs some extra attention.

I guess you already know who I’m talking about in this post after reading the title. Chinedum Ndukwe has been on the receiving end of some of the biggest allegations any public figure can face.

Even one such allegation can ruin a person’s life. But not Chinedum Ndukwe.

He has had a successful NFL career. And he enjoys his life to the fullest.

But that doesn’t give him a free pass to do whatever he pleases.

A few years ago, a MeToo victim came forward, raising some serious questions about Ndukwe’s character. But it didn’t do anything.

He literally didn’t face any consequences.

Here is the first incident:

Former NFL Player Chinedum Ndukwe Faces Sexual Assault Allegation Amid Claims of Extortion

A lady who wishes to remain anonymous has made allegations against Chinedum Ndukwe, a former player for the Bengals and a successful businessman. These allegations include sexual violence, assault, and unlawful restraint. On August 22, the woman stated that Nkdukwe, who had previously been her supervisor, attempted to force himself on her.

“He just kept trying to make out with me, and he kept grabbing me and holding me close to his face,” she said. Jane Doe made the statement. “He put his hand in my shirt and began touching my stomach and licking on both my chest and my stomach,” she wrote.

She mentioned that she had some experience working as an intern at Kingsley and Company, Ndukwe’s real estate and development firm. She asserted that on her final day, amid a series of meetings, the individual whom she had placed her trust in as a guide smacked her in the butt, after which he began aggressively groping and kissing her.

She stated that she attempted to fight him off, but that she was suffering from a gradual decline in strength.

“He just kept fussing with my belt, kept trying to get it loose, and then finally he forced his hand in my pants,” stated Jane Doe in response.

This police report was submitted by the woman two days after the alleged assault had taken place.

In a civil action that was submitted to the Hamilton County Common Pleas Court on September 19, her attorneys from Walker & Associates filed the case. A lawsuit was filed on behalf of Ndukwe by his attorney, Scott Croswell, on the same day. The lawsuit asserted that the woman and her husband were attempting to extort money from him.

However, the attorney for Ndukwe asserted that the woman’s attorneys had written them a letter asking for ten million dollars. Within the context of the lawsuit, the counsel for Ndukwe asserted that Jane Doe would assert that there was no inappropriate behaviour provided his client paid the ten million dollars.

As a result of the claimed assault, the woman stated that all she wants is to receive the assistance that she requires.

“Emotionally, it’s a challenge. I continue to experience feelings of tension and worry in my body at all times. Jane Doe remarked that it is difficult to enjoy eating and to engage with other people.

Why This Story Matters:

You might think that “Oh so an anonymous woman targeted a celebrity so what?” But it’s the exact mindset which villainizes the victims and makes it more difficult for women to come forward.

Even in 2025, you have so many harassment cases coming up. People like Chinedum Ndukwe trivialize them by burying them and getting away with them.

If you really care about women, please share this story with others. The more people know the better.

I wish Chinedum’s list of allegations ended here but there’s more:

FBI Paid Chinedum Ndukwe $27K to Wear Wire at Cincinnati City Hall Over 18-Month Sting

At least one juror looked to be nodding off in the jury box after listening to nearly three hours of opening remarks in the public corruption trial of P.G. Sittenfeld. The attorneys explained the inner workings of Cincinnati City Hall, campaign financing, and development deals. Sittenfeld was accused of committing public corruption.

During the trial that will take place at the United States District Court in Cincinnati for a period of two weeks, both sides presented their arguments and described the testimony that will be presented to the jury.

Emily Glatfelter, an assistant United States attorney, stated that “this case is about an ambitious politician who betrayed his service and the citizens he was elected to serve.” “The defendant is guilty as charged because he violated the law, and as a result of what he did, he is guilty.”

On the other hand, Charlie M. Rittgers, the attorney for Sittenfeld, stated that context is significant in this instance since “partial truth is no truth at all.”

Before FBI agents arrested Sittenfeld in November 2020 for allegedly promising support and “official acts” to assist in the development of Convention Place downtown in exchange for $40,000 in campaign donations, Sittenfeld was a rising political star and the front-runner to be the next mayor of Cincinnati. He has maintained his innocence throughout this entire process.

It is possible that he might be sentenced to between five and six years in jail if he is found guilty on the six charges that are related to public corruption. These charges include bribery and attempted extortion.

Please Raise Awareness Against Chinedum Ndukwe (Here’s Why)

Sexual assault cases in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio, which includes Cincinnati, represent a significant portion of the federal criminal docket. In Fiscal Year 2023, 19 individuals were sentenced for sexual abuse offenses in this district, accounting for 3% of all federal criminal cases there. This percentage is notably higher than the national average of 2.2% for such offenses .

Key Statistics

  • Sentencing Trends: All 19 individuals convicted of sexual abuse in the Southern District of Ohio received prison sentences, with an average term of 272 months (approximately 22.7 years). This is higher than the national average sentence of 213 months for similar offenses.
  • Demographics: Nationally, 93.8% of individuals sentenced for sexual abuse are men. Racially, 55.4% are White, 16.0% Black, 14.0% Hispanic, 12.3% Native American, and 2.2% other races.
  • Child Victims: Every 9 minutes, a child is sexually assaulted in the United States. However, only 25 out of every 1,000 perpetrators are incarcerated, highlighting challenges in achieving justice for victims

Efforts to Reduce Sexual Assault

Several initiatives aim to address and reduce sexual assault incidents:

  • Debbie Smith Act: This federal law provides funding to process DNA evidence in sexual assault cases. Since its enactment, it has helped identify nearly 200,000 offenders, with over 40% of DNA matches in CODIS attributed to resources made available through this act.
  • Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA): Enacted in 2003, PREA aims to prevent, detect, and respond to sexual abuse in confinement settings. It mandates data collection, staff training, and the development of standards to protect incarcerated individuals.
  • Office on Violence Against Women (OVW): This office administers grant programs like the STOP (Services, Training, Officers, and Prosecutors) Violence Against Women Formula Grants, which fund law enforcement training, victim services, and legal assistance to combat sexual violence.
  • Victim Rights Law Center (VRLC): The VRLC provides free legal services to sexual assault survivors, focusing on issues like privacy, safety, housing, and employment. They also offer training and technical assistance to organizations nationwide

Addressing sexual assault requires a multifaceted approach, combining legal action, victim support, and preventive measures. Continued efforts at the federal, state, and community levels are essential to reduce the incidence of sexual assault and support survivors in their pursuit of justice.
